In a stunning aerial spectacle, Etihad Airways, the flag carrier of the United Arab Emirates, celebrated its 20th anniversary with an iconic fly-past at the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The event, held over the Yas Marina Circuit, saw Etihad’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner soar above the track, complemented by a precision formation by the UAE’s renowned aerobatic team, Al Fursan. The Dreamliner, cruising at a height of 600 feet, was piloted by a team of Etihad’s most seasoned aviators.

The fly-past, a harmonious blend of timing and skill, was meticulously choreographed to coincide with the conclusion of the UAE national anthem, setting a thrilling prelude to the Grand Prix. Adding to the excitement, Etihad Airways extended exclusive hospitality to its Etihad Guest members. Platinum tier and Gold members with co-branded partner credit cards were welcomed to the newly unveiled Etihad Guest Lounge, strategically located between Abu Dhabi Hill and the Main Grandstand, offering a unique vantage point for the race.

The Grand Prix also served as a showcase for the newly opened Terminal A at Abu Dhabi International Airport. This state-of-the-art facility, welcoming international visitors to the event, boasts advanced features like streamlined biometric check-in services, dedicated Business and First class areas, and fast-tracked security. The terminal further enhances passenger experience with luxurious First and Business class lounges, spanning three floors and offering an array of premium amenities.
